Ingredients (for 10 persons): 10 eggs, 10 tablespoons of white flour, 10 tablespoons of sugar, one teaspoon of baking powder.

For the filling: five large eggs, two cups sugar, one cup milk, for tablespoons white flour, cocoa or vanilla, two cups of unsalted butter.

Start heating the oven. Take the 10 eggs and separate the eggs yolks from the egg withes. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and whisk the egg withes until they are thick and firm. Incorporate the egg yolks in the egg whites with gentle moves. Do the same with the flour and baking powder – mix gently to avoid flattening the egg withes. Bake it for 40 minutes at medium heat, on a detachable ring cake pan.

In the meantime, mix the five eggs with the sugar, flour and the milk. If you want cocoa filling, add two tablespoons of cocoa powder. If you want vanilla flavor, add some vanilla extract. Boil the composition on low heat, for 30 minutes, stirring continuously. Then, let it cool down. Beat the soft butter until it looks creamy. Start incorporating the eggs and sugar composition, one tablespoon at a time. Put the filling in the fridge for 10 minutes. Cut the cake in halves. Put 2/3 of the cram in the middle, and use the rest to cover the cake. Finish it with marzipan decorations.
